In the absence of any external threats to planet Earth, we seem to have decided to destroy it ourselves. If we continue with business as usual, our planet will heat up by another +3°C during the next 80 years, i.e. during the lifetime of our children. Whether humanity will survive this is highly questionable. We have all the information and technology needed to act, but seem unable to implement any meaningful policies. It is very frustrating.
This website is devoted to science, nature, and society. It documents my professional work in the areas of computational physics and numerical simulations but is also part of my effort to help our children survive the 21st century. They will need all the help they can get.
